My Design Process
To achieve a longer-lasting glow, I researched strontium aluminate, which allows the tip to stay illuminated for up to 30 minutes after the light is turned off.
The initial LED output was too harsh, so it was adjusted and paired with a custom lens to create a softer, more comfortable light. The graphite tip and lens are set at a 45-degree angle for a sharper, more intentional form, and the pocket clip was matched to our FL66 flashlight to keep the collection consistent.
