Perfect for late-night reading, camping, or imaginative play, they store up light with every squeeze and shine when you need it.
My Design Process
I 3D modeled the custom housing with playful animal ears, and took apart a few existing units to understand how everything worked inside. That process helped me spot potential issues early, like using batteries that couldn’t be replaced and would shorten the toy’s life. I pushed for a rechargeable NiMH battery pack instead, so it’s something a kid can enjoy for a long time, not just for a moment.
