A better hammock?

Browsing Kickstarter design projects has always been one of my favorite things to see what else is being made out there. One product I happened upon was the Crua Koala Hammock.
This is a hammock which claims to do everything. It has all of its own accessories: a Bug Mesh cover, tent-like poles, a sleeping bag, a pillow, a tablet holder, and the list goes on.

This is the products third Kickstarter campaign after two successful rounds of funding. So why this hammock? Eno Hammocks already makes all of these same accessories for their hammock.
I recognize this as a trend of making a single product capable of handling any scenario. Is this a good or bad thing? I am a believer of simplicity and encouraging intuitive alternate uses. The Koala Hammock's use of specifically labeled 'tablet' and 'drink' pouches feels too forced. On another hand, making a product such as a hammock a "one stop shop" by providing all the potential accessories is very valid from a marketing standpoint. Here lies the issue of finding balance between practicality and elegance thru lack of complication.
